The Doctor of Ministry is the highest competency level pastoral ministry degree programme primarily designed for the practice of ministry and is oriented toward serving the needs of pastors, mission executives, church leaders, and other ministry professionals on the continent of Africa. The purpose of this programme is to equip people for a higher-level ability in the practice of ministry and ministerial leadership in the area of applied theology. The benefits you will obtain from taking the degree:
- Gain a sound grasp of biblical, theological and theoretical principals that would help the church fulfill its mission
- Acquire a high level of competency in the skills that pertain to an area of concentration
- Contribute to the body of knowledge through research
- Identify and implement ways of spreading the Good News of the Gospel within the African context
The nine DMin areas of concentration reflect areas of significant importance in ministry to the Christian Church in Africa. Each area represents unique challenges that require specialized knowledge, skills and attitudes. These concentrations will not be offered simultaneously and the student should select one of the following:

- Evangelism and Church Growth
- Marriage and Family
- Pastoral Care and Counseling
- Word, Worship and Liturgy
- Youth Ministry
