Entry requirements for Master of Arts in Building Management

The following are eligible for registration for the degree of Master of Arts in Building Management at the University of Nairobi


A holder of a degree of at least Upper Second Class standing from the University of Nairobi or an equivalent degree from a university recognised by the University of Nairobi senate in either architecture, surveying and photogrammetry, civil engineering, building economics, land economics, estate management and related fields.

Master of Arts in Building Management Course Subjects

The Master of Arts in Building Management curriculum comprises of a two-year programme leading to the award of a master of Arts degree in Building Management.


The Master of Arts in Building Management curriculum shall consist of coursework, seminars and field projects; a written six paper examination at the end of the first year, and a thesis submitted at the end of the second year.
