
The Course is organized in six sessions. There are twenty three course units and each course unit will required a minimum of thirty five contact hours while teaching practice will be equivalent to 8 units. In addition all trainees will require there is an institutional attachment of 100 hours (1 month) and research project of 105 hours.
Minimum requirements: A minimum of KCSE Grade C Plain or its equivalent, Teacher Certificate in Early Childhood Development and Education, P1 or P2 Teacher Certificate or A DICECE or Kindergarten Headmistress association, Montessori Certificate with at least D + in KCSE or its equivalent. Diploma awarded by Mt Kenya University.
