
The Bachelor of Arts in Land Economics degree programme at the University of Nairobi studies the use, development and management of land and other related natural resources. It draws upon theories and concepts in economics, politics, sociology, law, engineering, … to analyse issues pertaining to land.
The Bachelor of Arts in Land Economics programme at the University of Nairobi is organised in such a way that the first two years deal with a background education in general but interrelated areas of economics, law and the physical environment. During the last two years of the Bachelor of Arts in Land Economics programme students concentrate more on the core land economy areas including real estate economics and valuation, estate management and agency, land administration, land development and land taxation.
A Bachelor of Construction Management applicant at the University of Nairobi must meet the following minimum University entry requirements.
KCSE : mean grade of C+ with a minimum of Grade C+ in the following clusters:
Mathematics;
English:
Physics or Chemistry or Biology:
Geography or History and Government or Christian Religious Education; Home Science or Business Studies or Art and Design or Agriculture or Computer Studies.

KAACE (A-Level) applicants or Equivalent:
Two Principal passes in any one of the following subjects: Economics, Geography, History, Commerce or any other relevant subject, and a credit pass in the English language and Mathematics at K.C.E level or equivalent.

Diploma Holders:
Kenya National Examinations Council KNEC Diploma or its equivalent in Building Construction, Architectural studies, Land Surveying, Civil Engineering or the Diploma in Estate Agency and Property Management from the University of Nairobi or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the University of Nairobi Senate

Degree holders:
A University of Nairobi degree or its equivalent in the following areas: Architecture, Engineering, Design, Economics, Quantity surveying, Construction management, Commerce, Building Economics and Planning.
