Nazareth Medical College was started in 2005 as an initiative of the Franciscan sisters of the immaculate Heart of Mary, with a mission of fostering professional nursing education and promoting excellence in nursing practice.
The school has grown from offering a distance education program of upgrading enrolled nurses to offering a 3years basic diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (K.R.C.H.N). The program is regionally and internationally recognized and prepares the student nurses to work efficiently in acute health care systems, obstetric and community settings.
The college has since its inception embraced a culture of hard work, commitment and dedication to excellence. This is enhanced by the presence of a modern resource centre and a well equipped skills laboratory and Library.
