To enroll into the Bachelor of Commerce degree at Kirinyaga University, a student requires to meet either of the following minimum educational requirements.

• Be a holder of KCSE with a minimum aggregate of C+ (C plus) and a minimum of C in both Mathematics and English.
• Be a holder of KACE certificate with a minimum of two principal passes and one subsidiary pass and a minimum of a credit pass in Mathematics at KCE.
• Be a holder of Diploma or professional certificate in a relevant discipline from an institution recognized by the University Senate.
