This Bachelor of Education (Arts) programme aims to produce trained and qualified teachers who have adequate subject matter knowledge and can employ critical and reflective thinking in the analysis of their educational issues in general, and curricular and pedagogical issues in particular, in their chosen subject areas.

This Bachelor of Education (Arts) programme aims to  equip graduates with relevant knowledge and skills to enable them to further their studies and also carry out relevant research in the field.

By the end of the programme, the Zetech University graduate should be able to:

• Assess different approaches and strategies in instruction
  
• Apply Acquired knowledge and skills through carrying out practice in teaching and research in Education
• Explain Theories of growth and development in relation to knowledge and skills for teaching students from varied social economic backgrounds
• Demonstrate a solid foundation that can enable them pursue further studies in Education

• KCSE (or equivalent examination) certificate with a minimum of Aggregate KCSE mean grade of C+ and above or:
• A relevant KNEC diploma or its equivalent with a minimum of grade C+ in Mathematics and English
• Holder of an Accredited diploma with a credit pass from an institution that is recognized by the University Senate with a minimum grade of C+ in Mathematics and English
• Be a Holder of KACE certificate with a minimum of two principal passes and one subsidiary pass, and a minimum of credit pass in Mathematics and English at KCE
• Have a minimum of grade C+ in the two teaching subjects you wish to pursue
• Those taking Business studies as a teaching subject must have a minimum of grade C+ in Mathematics
