Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Resource Management Program Offered at Pwani University

This Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Resource Management allows graduates to take up professional, managerial or executive positions in such areas as banking, international agencies, agribusiness, education, agriculture or the public sector. Skills gained allow graduates to perform an effective professional role in a changing economic and social environment to deal with the complex issues facing the agricultural and resource sectors. The degree provides graduates with a solid core of knowledge but is also flexible.

To enroll into the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Resource Management at Pwani University, a candidate requires to have either of the following:

• A mean grade of at least C+ (plus) or its equivalent in KCSE, and depending on the degree cluster at least C+ in three of the following subjects: English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Agriculture, Geography, Home Science, Computer Studies, Commerce and Economics. OR
• A-level certificate with at least one principal in the subjects indicated above. OR
• Diploma with a minimum of Credit Pass in related field of study from a recognized institution.
