The BSc Agriculture (Crop Science)  curriculum at Kenyatta University provides students with unique education that is science-based, effective in developing personal skills, and that prepares them for entry-level positions in government, agribusiness, farm management, graduate study, and for other positions where a problem-solving approach to issues in crops, soils and the environment is needed. This curriculum will provide graduates with the education and training necessary for them to become effective agricultural professionals and leaders.

Entry requirements for Bachelor of Science in Agriculture - (Crop Science)

The common Kenyatta University and the School of Agriculture and Enterprise Development admission regulations shall apply.
Candidates must have passed with a mean aggregate of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent.
In addition, the student must have obtained a minimum of C+ (plus) in any three (3) of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Agriculture or Geography, Mathematics or Physics/Physical Sciences OR
Mean grade C (plain) at KCSE or its equivalent with a Diploma of at least credit pass in a subject related to Agriculture, environmental studies, applied biology or any other related discipline from a recognized Institution OR
At least two (2) Principals and one (1) Subsidiary in science subjects with a Principal pass in biology at KACE (A-level) or its equivalent OR
Mean grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma at Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions.
Students can also transfer from other Institutions or Departments to the University on Credit transfer provided they meet the minimum admission requirements.
