The B Sc in Mathematics & Computer Science degree programme at Multimedia University puts a lot of emphasis on
mathematical methods used in Science, Engineering, Business, Computer,
Research and Industry.
This program aims to produce graduates that are
equipped with necessary mathematical tools for analyzing, modeling and
solving physical, economical and real life problems in their complexity.

Computer Science units are carefully selected not only to provide an
introduction to the most theoretical aspects of computer science, but
also to raise the students capability in analyzing algorithms, software
construction and mathematical computation.

Entry requirements for Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science

KCSE mean grade of C+ with a minimum grade of B in Mathematics, and C+
in Physics/Physical Science and in either Chemistry, Biology/ Biological
Science or Geography; OR
A-Level two principal passes and one
subsidiary pass in the relevant subjects; OR
Relevant diploma from an
institution approved by the University Senate.
