About Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management Bachelors Degree program.

The BSc. in Tourism Management is a three-year degree program that
provides a solid foundation for the management of tourism businesses.
The program provides the most up-to-date knowledge, innovations,
technologies, and management techniques in the tourism industry. By the
end of the program, you will be able to explain the complexity of the
environmental, socio-cultural and global diversity as it affects the
modern tourism industry. You will also integrate and implement business
management principles, practices and ethics in occupational pursuits in
the travel and tourism industry.


The program curriculum provides a healthy blend of theory and
practice. Through case studies and research, students are introduced to
current management issues with local, regional, national and
international tourism businesses and organizations. Students are able to
build their entrepreneurial and managerial skills for careers in travel
and tourism industry.

Entry requirements for Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management

  • KCSE: C + (plus) and above
  • EACE/KCE/KACE/EAACE: 5 Credits in any 5 subjects at O-Level, or 2 Principal C-s at A-Level
  • 12th Grade: G.P.A. of 2.50 or higher
  • IGCSE/IB: 5 Upper Level Passes
  • GCE: 5 Credits in any 5 subjects at O-Level, and/or A-Level passes of C
