Certificate in Business Administration (CBA) Program Offered at Institute of Advanced Technology

The Certificate in Business Administration (CBA) program introduces fundamental concepts and practices of business to develop a broad, practical understanding of its context, purpose and underlying functional areas.

The course provides students with an appreciation of the theoretical issues currently involved in the study of business and a range of practical skills which will enhance their value to potential employers. The course approach allows students to later follow specialized study to develop their understanding in various Management fields.

The duration of the programme shall normally be Two Academic semesters.

The in Business Administration (CBA) program graduates shall be able to apply the gained practical and theoretical skills to:

• Apply the principles of Management in their work environment.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the theoretical framework of various aspects of the above respective disciplines.
• Utilize communication principles in various fields of Management data entry, multimedia, and graphics, etc.

• KCSE Mean Grade D+ (plus) with
• D+ in English and D in Mathematics or Business Studies.
