Dairy Production and Processing diploma is a two program ideal for people working or aspiring to work in milk processing, quality control, marketing or as front-line extension officers along the dairy value chain.
In this program, students learn how to add value to raw milk processing technologies, in order to produce marketable, safely consumable and healthy dairy products that have an extended shelf life and comply with both international and national standards.
Students are taught preservation techniques, quality control analyses, marketing skills, and organizational skills.
Dairy Production and Processing graduates are able to competently run a profitable dairy plant through correct financial calculations, risk management, organization, and communication.
