Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management Program Offered at Kenyatta University

Upon completion of this Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management course at Kenyatta University, you should be able to:

• understand educational leadership and management both as a subject of study and as a field of practice
• identify current and emerging leadership situations and issues through analysis
• consider views of what constitutes ‘good’ leadership and management
• gain insights into the potential for ‘capacity building’ in educational organisations.

To be admitted to the course programme, applicants must one of following:

• K.C.S.E (C plain) or its equivalent, or
• P1 or S1 or its equivalent with at least two years work experience
• A holder of KCSE C- (minus) with a relevant certificate from a recognized institution.

To qualify for the award of Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management, a candidate shall have completed TWO (2) academic years.
