A candidate may be registered as a full time student for the PhD programme in Applied Statistics at maseno University for a minimum of three years and a maximum of five years. For part-time candidates, the minimum registration period is four years an maximum seven years.

DE-Registration

A candidate shall be de-registered at Maseno University if;

  1.  He or she fails to live up to the academic requirements stipulated.
  2.  He or she conducts himself or herself in a manner that is contrary to the university rules and regulations.
  3.  His or her sponsor fails to remit funds to the University for the Conduct of studies and research.
  4.  He or she has not completed the prescribed studies after six years since the date of registration for full time students, and eight years for part time.
  5.   He or she has not submitted the revised thesis after the prescribed time decided at the time of defence.
