Early Childhood Education & Development Program Offered at Equip Africa Institute

This Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Development course offered at Equip Africa Institute will equip learners with high-level knowledge, skills, attitudes, and abilities necessary for early childhood educators.

Graduate of this course will have gained skills required in teaching and administering pre-school and other children institutions, nurturing students towards educational development of the people of Kenya, and participating in advancement in the field of Education, Science and Technology.

Assessment

The course will be assessed at two levels: internally and externally. Internal assessment is continuous and is conducted by the trainer who is monitored by an internal accredited verifier while external assessment is the responsibility of TVET CDACC.

Certification

On successful completion of all units of learning, a trainee will be awarded a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Development issued by TVET CDACC in conjunction with Equip Africa Institute.

An individual entering this Early Childhood Education & Development diploma course at Equip Africa Institute should have any of the following minimum requirements:

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E.) with a minimum mean grade of C (plain)
• Early Childhood Education Certificate (Level 5)
• Equivalent qualifications as determined by Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA)
