About Education Diploma program.

The diploma in Education programme offered at Foundation Istitute of Africa is designed to produce teachers with an in-depth understanding of the subject matter, sound professional skills and ability to adapt to the ever-changing Educational needs in Kenya. Its focus is on quality instruction and management  skills and is aimed at improving the competency of primary school teachers in instruction and managerial skills which is presently largely lacking in public schools.

All applicants seeking to join the Foundation institute of Africa are required to be members of Kenya Youth Education Scholarship Fund. Applicants are therefore required to pay a membership fee of KShs. 2,500 per year and a processing fees of KShs. 1,500.

Entry requirements for Education

  1. A holder of KCSE with a minimum grade of D+ and P1 certificate with a teaching experience of at least 2 years OR KCSE Mean grade C+ (plus).
