Objectives of Graphic Design

This Graphic Design diploma program introduces you to basic art and design practices, skills, and techniques whilst promoting independent thinking, organisation and motivation.

Application, Exploration, and Realisation: In this unit, learners will develop and extend their specialist subject understanding and skill, realizing their creative potential through personal research, experimentation and communication of ideas.
Graphics for 3D applications: The aim of this unit is to develop learner's skills, knowledge and understanding through investigating examples of graphics for 3D applications and learn about the factors that influence design in this field such as surface graphics, shapes, and colours.
Narrative Image Making: The aim of this unit is to develop learners skills and understanding of existing narrative image work and to enable them to build skills in creating narrative images using a variety of media
Website Design: This unit aims to give learners the opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge, and understanding needed to design effective and creative websites.
Freelance work in Art and Design: The aim of this unit is to enable learners to develop knowledge, skills, and understanding of the freelance sector in art and design. Learners will create a potential business plan and portfolio for freelance activity.
