Leadership Studies Program Offered at Kenya Institute of Social Work and Community Development

This Leadership Studies program is a one and a half years course, whose objective is to equip students with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable them assist the communities to realize that leadership has been recognized as central in determining the success or failure of organizations.

• Minimum qualifications are KCSE D+ or KCE Div. 3 or the equivalent

Course open to Beginners, Community development workers, Welfare officers and Fresh students

Semester Two

• Strategy In Leadership Development.

• Advocacy And Lobbying.
• Resource Mobilization And Fundraising.
• Community Capacity Building And Partnerships
• Project (Not Teachable In Class; Supervisory Unit)
• Field Practicum /Report.
