About Nutrition and Dietetics Diploma program.

The goal of this nutrition and dietetics diploma course is to equip students with appropriate in-depth knowledge and skills in subjects related to nutrition and dietetics.

Upon completion of the Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics the graduates will have acquired knowledge skills and attitude to be able to apply the knowledge skills and attitudes to undertake quality nutrition and dietetic practice in a range of settings including disasters and emergencies as well as apply independent learning and reflective practice skills to allow capacity for self-evaluation and management that is strategic and focuses on quality nutrition and dietetics practice.

Entry requirements for Nutrition and Dietetics

An individual entering this nutrition and dietetics diploma course at Equip Africa College should have any of the following minimum requirements:

  • C- (minus) or its equivalent with a minimum grade in each of the following subjects:
    • D+ [plus] in Biology,
    • D+ [plus] in Chemistry,
    • D+ [plus] in English or Kiswahili,
    • D+ [plus] in Mathematics or Physics 
  • KNDI Certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics
