Arc Welding (Artisan)

Arc welding is the process of joining metal pieces by melting them.

This Arc Welding course provides an in-depth description of the most widely used arc welding processes, an understanding of both material and weld metallurgy, the benefit of key testing regimes, and an appreciation of the causes and solutions for typical weld defects.

This Arc Welding course is suitable for people who wish to gain an introductory understanding of arc welding processes with a materials focus.

Attendees do not need to have any formal qualifications or knowledge of welding but will require some technical knowledge.

Course Benefits

  • Potential to improve productivity and quality standards.
  • Identification and resolution of common welding defects.
  • Select the appropriate arc welding process and welding regime for a variety of steel and aluminum alloys
