Kenya Registered Nurse Midwife (KRNM) is a highly trained, versatile healthcare professional who provides vital medical care and guide patients through important life transitions. In addition to caring for expectant mothers from pregnancy through the postpartum period, nurse midwives treat women throughout their lives as primary care providers.
A Kenya Registered Nurse Midwife is a licensed healthcare professional who specializes in women?s reproductive health and childbirth. In addition to attending births, they perform annual exams, give counseling, and write prescriptions.
Perhaps their most important job, however, is helping mothers birth their babies safely and naturally. They help patients manage their labor and monitor both the moms and babies during the delivery to ensure safety.
