Plant Operator Lifting Machines

Lifting equipment operators use machinery such as forklift trucks, cranes, and suspension equipment to lift and hoist heavy loads.

From mobile crane operation to lifting and slinging through to plant operation to general safety and environmental guidelines this course will give you skills to make you a proficient Lifting plant operator.

This Lifting equipment course will train you on how to utilize and maintain the following machinery: Cranes, Forklifts, and Cherry pickers.

This plant operator Lifting Machines course will teach you how to operate manual and power operated lifting and platform equipment.

Upon completing this Plant Operator Lifting Machines course, you will be able to:

• Work with a variety of manual and power operated lifting equipment such as forklift trucks, cherry pickers and mobile cranes
• Carry out routine mechanical and health and safety checks on lifting equipment.
• Assist with repairs and servicing of lifting equipment where required
• Adhering to regulations surrounding health and safety
• Working at construction sites, warehouses, private residences, or open fields.

• Must be 18 years and above.
• Be in possession of a driver’s license with 2 photocopies.
