Kolping Educational Training Centre is a middle-level training institution founded on a strong belief of capacity through imparting practice knowledge and skills to spur economic and social growth. The institution evolved from a social-economic consult, a consultancy that has been carrying out research on developing issues.
Kolping Educational Training Centre, KVTC is a national vocational training college managed by Kolping Organisation of Kenya, a lay Catholic organisation.
KVTC was started in 1989 with the core objective of empowering the youth with relevant technical skills and knowledge for holistic growth.

We at Kolping Educational Training Centre plan to become a coordinating institution that plays the link role to source for students and place them in appropriate training Institution, hence becoming a pre-university centre, this will help to extend our capacity to train without necessarily investing heavily in training resources.
Mission: Working for the integral development of its trainees and employees through spiritual guidance, career training and economic empowerment.
Vision: Be a unique vocational training centre which focuses on the enhancement of skills for self-reliance guided by the words of blessed Fr. Kolping which states "that the needs of the time will tell what to do".
