The Paramount Chief Kinyanjui Technical Training Institute (PCKTTI) is a public institution of higher learning under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
PCKTTI is situated in a serene environment conducive to learning and teaching.
The institute believes in teamwork, professionalism, and integrity. Our staff are highly qualified and are offered an opportunity to advance their skills in order to keep abreast with the changing technology. In order to compete favorably with other training institutions, PCKTTI embraced Performance Contracting and the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System PCKTTI acquired ISO 9001:2008 certification by the Kenya Bureau of Standards in May 2011.

This Quality Policy and established functional Quality Objectives shall be reviewed annually for continuing suitability.

At PC Kinyanjui Technical Trianing Institute, training is our foremost business, we offer a wide range of courses. Currently, there are eight academic departments namely:
We pride ourselves in improving ladies enrolment in Science, Engineering and Technology courses.
In order to provide quality training, PC Kinyanjui Technical Trianing Institute is upgrading its infrastructure. Construction of laboratories, hostels, workshops, halls, classes and staffrooms has been undertaken and the process of equipping the workshops and laboratories with modern machines is underway.
We sincerely thank our partners and especially the Government of Kenya through the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology for their steadfast support in all our endeavors.
P.C. Kinyanjui Technical Training Institute started in 1979 as a Technical Secondary School with a population of 160 students. The vision to establish the Technical School was borne by His Excellency, the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, the First President of the Republic of Kenya.
The elders donated pieces of land that were consolidated in 1958 as trust land and reserved for future development of Kinyanjui Memorial High School in honour of the late Paramount Chief Kinyanjui wa Gathirimu who reigned between 1893 to 1929 in the region in which we are.
At its inception, the institute offered training at artisan and craft certificate courses to the growing numbers of standard eight and form four leavers of the 8.4.4. system of education. The institute today offers a wide range of diploma and certificate courses.
ISO Certification
Through embracing of Performance Contracting and ISO 9001:2008 certification, the institute has registered tremendous improvement in students performance and service delivery.
