Credit Officer Program Offered at Equip Africa Institute

This Credit Officer Certificate qualification offered at Equip Africa Institute consists of competencies that an individual must achieve to enable him/her work as a credit officer.

Some of the skills gained include skills to administer requests for credit, administer debtors ledger, monitor business performance, manage debt collection and recovery, evaluate credit portfolio performance, manage credit risk and compliance, operate Management information systems in credit, manage the customer relationship and implement credit business development.

Assessment

The course will be assessed at two levels: internally and externally. Internal assessment is continuous and is conducted by the trainer who is monitored by an internal accredited verifier while external assessment is the responsibility of TVET CDACC.

Certification

On successful completion of all units of learning, a trainee will be awarded a Credit Officer Certificate issued by TVET CDACC in conjunction with Equip Africa Institute.

An individual entering this credit officer certificate course at Equip Africa Institute should have any of the following minimum requirements: 

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E.) with a minimum mean grade of D+ (plus)
• Equivalent qualifications as determined by Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA)
