St. Therese Vocational Training Centre

St. Therese Vocational Training Centre is one of the apostolate of Donum Dei Missionaries initiatives. The centre, which is located in Roussel House in Karen, carries out training for young people, giving them an opportunity to acquire  skills in catering and other fields of life using the newly modernized facilities.

The center offers courses in Catering and Accommodation Management, Food and Beverage Production and Service, House Keeping and Laundry Operations, Life Skills and Computer Skills.

To enhance the Socio-economic status and dignity of young people, enabling  them to realize their full potential in life.

Our  Objectives:

To improve the quality of life of young people. And to improve the conditions of the young people in view of preparing them to  different sectors of employment.

The practical lessons allow students to apply what they learn in class during theory lessons.  The demonstration kitchen, expose them to experienced instructors.The Instructors  have expertise in hospitality and in capacity development. The  training approach is professional and suited to the development of the  young people.

Established by the Donum Dei Missionary family as one of their apostolates in  May 2008, St. Therese has proven to be a reputable institution backed by the trained hundreds of youth who’ve acquired relevant and marketable skills in hospitality industry.
