AIC Naivasha Technical Training Institute - Historical journey

The idea of starting Naivasha Technical Training Institute began as a result of work of Family to Family project initiated in 1976 by the World Vision International.

The project supported the children with clothes and school fees and helped parents with livestock project to support the children. Rev. Daniel Githirwa began Naivasha Technical Training Institute in 1978.

The institution has gone through a remarkable journey since its inception with the introduction of one course area to diversifying the number of courses as would meet the training demands of the youth.

As an institution, we work closely with the government through TVETA by creating and maintaining an environment conducive to suitable learning growth. Our vision is to have a community with people who are self-reliant through wage or self-employment with Christian virtues and responsible members of the society.

The board of Governors, Board of Management has played a pivotal role in steering the institution in the right direction. The visionary leadership has seen the institution grow to remarkable levels
